Biography

Instrument Played: Guitar
Equipment: Fender and Gibson guitars


Born with guitar in hand. Found out what it was aged 7. Started playing aged 9 after seeing Joe Brown live. Studied the Classical guitar up to grade 8. Self taught on electric guitar, but have borrowed licks from too many influences to name.
Worked for the UK distributors of Gibson, Fender and Guild guitars. Demonstrated at various clinics and trade shows including Frankfurt. Met and played with a few "names" in the process. Including Noel Redding (the Jimi Hendrix experience). John Coghlan (Original drummer for Status Quo) Don Powell (Slade) and Jerry Donahue (guitarist for Fairport Convention, Chris Rea and the Hellecasters)
Have been gigging in pubs and clubs since the age of 17 and played in many different bands covering all styles: Rock, Blues, Soul, Funk, Disco, and Country. Recently playing with Ian Dury tribute band "What a Waste", Eagles tribute "Hotel California" Pink Floyd tribute "Masque" and Columbian band Los Chicos del Vallenatos playing the music of Carlos Vives.


Main Influences: Eric Johnson, Robben Ford, Mike Stern, John Scofield, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, Richie Blackmore and Carlos Santana.
